KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia’s international reserves stood at RM432.1 billion (equivalent to US$139.9 billion) as at April 15.

This is sufficient to finance 9.9 months of retained imports and 4.6 times the short-term external debt, Bank Negara said in a statement yesterday.
It also said headline inflation, as measured by the annual percentage change in the Consumer Price Index, was marginally higher at 1.6 per cent in March, from February’s 1.5 per cent.
